SA SENIOR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2016

Event Information:

The 2016 SA Senior Open Championship has been completed after three gruelling rounds at the Germiston Golf Club. The tournament was fully supported by Golf RSA & the SAGA.

A star studded field of Senior Professional golfers as well as a number of amateur golfers, over the age of 50 participated in this years tournament. This tournament was open to all male golfers who are 50 years of age or older, either amateurs (who have an official handicap of 4 or better) or professionals. Unfortunately the defending Champion, Steve Williams is away overseas so he will be unable to defend this year.

A pre-tournament Pro-Am took place on Tuesday 29 Nov. The format was a Four Ball Alliance & was great fun.
