This year’s SA Senior Masters Championship took place at the Silver Lakes Golf Estate in Pretoria East over two days, 24th & 25th November.  

Originally scheduled to be a three round tournament, the event was shortened to only two days due to inclement weather on Monday 23rd which  an unplayable golf course. The first two days are Pro-Ams where the top Senior Professionals play along side teams of three amateurs. The format for these two rounds is a Four Ball Alliance with two scores to count on every hole. There were daily prizes for the winning teams as well as an overall prize for the winning team. 
The field comprised of some real stars& was won on a score of 6 under par (70 + 68) by golfing legend, David Frost
